Noida, March 19 (IANS) A 46-year-old woman was allegedly gangraped in a moving car Wednesday night. The woman was badly thrashed by a group of five men before being finally dumped at a secluded place in Sector-31, police said.
The woma was picked by the assailants and pushed into a white Qualis near her house at Pandav Nagar in east Delhi. She was forcibly taken in to the car and was driven to Noida. The woman alleged that the assailants first assaulted her and then dumped her near Nithari after commiting gang rape.

The woman, in a disheveled and profusely bleeding state, went and complained to the police check post.

Police claimed that the woman’s husband, Vinod Vashishth, told them that he did not want any police proceedings in the case.

“The victim’s husband told us that she was mentally not well and was undergoing treatment for the last six years. Such an incident of walking out from the house and missing for sometime has also happened before with her. We have handed over the matter to the Delhi Police which is looking after it now,” Parmesh Kumar Shukla, SHO of Sector-20 police station said.
