April 28th, 2010 - 10:06 pm ICT by IANSBhopal, April 28 (IANS) A woman was burnt to death when her car caught fire at a mechanic’s shop in Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri district Wednesday, police said.
“Some repair work was underway on the vehicle when the incident occurred. The woman coming from Uttar Pradesh’s Kannauj district was seated inside the car at that time,” a police officer said.
“The manner in which the blaze spread in the shop indicates that the car might have been running on LPG. It is being probed whether the fire erupted while gas was being filled in the vehicle,” the police official said.
