Woman commits suicide
March 3rd, 2011 - 12:51 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 2 (IANS) Depressed over being separated from her husband after a marital dispute, a 30-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan in south Delhi, police said Wednesday.
“Sunita’s body was discovered hanging from ceiling fan by her mother Kaushalya at her house at Bindapur Wednesday afternoon,” said a senior police officer.
While police did not recover any suicide note, they believe she was depressed due to marital dispute with husband Jag Mohan.
“She was living separately from her husband for the last eight months in Dwarka,” said the officer.
“Today, she had gone to her mother’s house where she hanged herself,” said the officer.
