Woman commits suicide in Delhi
May 3rd, 2011 - 12:38 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 2 (IANS) A 23 year-old-woman committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan of her house here allegedly due to financial problems, police said Monday.
“Chinki, 23, was found hanging from a ceiling fan Monday morning in her house in Madhu Vihar in east Delhi,” an investigating officer said.
The body was sent to L.B.S. Hospital for post mortem.
Police said she was married to Rajesh, a painter, for the last eight years and had a school-going son.
“The couple used to fight over financial problems as Rajesh had no fixed income,” the officer said.
No suicide note was found from the spot. Police is investigating the matter.
