Woman bites cop for stopping her car
April 22nd, 2011 - 8:43 pm ICT by IANSChandigarh, April 22 (IANS) Infuriated over a traffic police official stopping her, a women Friday bit his hand. She has been charged for the offence.
According to the police, Shilpi, a Sector 37 resident, was talking over her mobile phone while driving, which is a traffic rule violation.
“We stopped her and asked for her driving licence and registration certificate. She refused and tried to get away,” constable Amarjeet Singh said.
“When head constable Om Parkash tried to take away the car key to stop her, she bit his hand. The woman also misbehaved with him,” Singh added.
