Winslet follows Golden Globe wins with double BAFTA nominations

London, Jan 16 (IANS) After her double win at the Golden Globes, Kate Winslet has got two nominations at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) for her performances in “Revolutionary Road” and “The Reader”.The actress has been nominated in the best actress category for both the movies and will face competition from Angelina Jolie for her role in “The Changeling”, Kristin Scott Thomas for her film “I’ve Loved You Too Long” and Tilda Swinton in “Burn After Reading”, reported mirror.co.uk.
“Slumdog Millionaire” and “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”, meanwhile, have the most nominations with 11 each, closely followed by “The Dark Knight”, which has nine, “The Changeling” eight and “Frost/Nixon” six.
