New Delhi, Jan 13 (IANS) The Delhi High Court Wednesday criticised the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) for not making it clear whether it wanted to regularize or demolish a part of Sainik Farms in south Delhi.
A division bench of Justices Madan B. Lokur and Mukta Gupta asked DDA to submit the zonal plan by the next date of hearing or ask the secretary of the urban development ministry to appear personally Feb 13.

The court was hearing a public interest petition seeking directions to the government to act against people who have encroached on public land and illegally constructed luxury houses in the Sainik Farms locality.

The petitioner alleged that most residents had erected high walls beyond the permissible limit and illegally extended their houses.
