West Brom snaps up midfielder Mulumbu
February 3rd, 2009 - 2:08 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Feb 3 (DPA) West Bromwich Albion signed defensive midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu, on loan from Paris St Germain, Monday. The 22-year-old, an international for Democratic Republic of Congo, becomes West Brom’s third signing of the transfer window after Jay Simpson and Marc-Antoine Fortune, who have also joined on loan.
On the club’s website, manager Tony Mowbray described him as a “young player with potential… who won’t instantly impact on our first team.”
