Water tank wall crash kills three kids in Maharashtra
February 19th, 2011 - 8:18 pm ICT by IANSLatur (Maharashtra), Feb 19 (IANS) Three children were killed near this Maharashtra town when wall of a water tank gave away, police said Saturday. “The three kids had gone to the temple at Mirgali village to attend a religious event in the morning. After they were served food, they went to the temple water tank. When one of the boys opened the tap, the wall of the tank gave away,” a police official said.
The boys, all nine years old, have been identified as Rohit Kamle, Sabaniha Tirjabe and Tukaram Dhumal.
Mirgali village is around 60 km from the district headquarters of Latur.
