Washer man held for hoax bomb call
August 10th, 2011 - 1:10 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Aug 9 (IANS) A 24-year-old washerman has been arrested in north Delhi for making a hoax call saying that a bomb had been planted in the parking lot of Tis Hazari district court, police said Tuesday.
Bunty was arrested Monday from Shahabad Dairy area of north Delhi. A stolen mobile phone and a sim card were seized from him, police said.
The bomb call was made Aug 3. The bomb disposal squad after intensive check found that there was no bomb and declared the call a hoax.
