Warm, sunny morning for Delhi

New Delhi, March 23 (IANS) Delhi woke up to a sunny morning with clear skies Wednesday as the minimum temperature settled at 16.6 degrees Celsius — three notches above the average.

“It would be a warm day. The sky is expected to become partly cloudy towards the evening,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official told IANS.

The maximum temperature recorded Tuesday was 33.8 degrees Celsius, two notches below the average for the season.

“The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to stay around 35 and 16 degrees respectively,” the weatherman said.

Humidity stood at 80 percent.
