Warm, humid day ahead for Delhi
June 24th, 2011 - 12:30 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, June 24 (IANS) A warm and humid day has been forecast for the capital Friday with the maximum temperature likely to be around 37 degrees Celsius. There is a possibility of rain.
According to the India Meteorological Department, the skies will remain partly cloudy.
Humidity is also likely to remain high. It was recorded at a maximum of 76 percent Thursday.
The minimum temperature recorded early Friday morning was two notches above average at 30 degrees.
Some pre-monsoon showers may be experienced before the monsoon’s arrival which has been forecast after Monday, an IMD official said.
