Warm day in Delhi, foggy morning ahead (Lead)
November 22nd, 2011 - 8:49 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 22 (IANS) Delhi witnessed a warm day after a foggy morning with the maximum temperature settling a notch above average at 28 degrees Celsius Tuesday. Fog is expected Wednesday morning too.
While the minimum temperature was recorded at 14.8 degrees, three notches above average, the humidity wavered between a high of 98 percent and a low of 67 percent, an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
Shallow fog is expected Wednesday morning too.
“There will be shallow fog in the morning and a partly cloudy sky is expected in the evening,” said the official.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 28 and 15 degrees respectively.
