Wanted sub-inspector held in Ghaziabad
February 4th, 2011 - 10:28 pm ICT by IANSGhaziabad, Feb 4 (IANS) An Uttar Pradesh police officer who carried a reward of Rs.10,000 on his head was arrested here Friday.Sanjay Bhardwaj, who till recently was posted as a sub inspector in Noida, was arrested from the Sarvoday Hospital. He had been undergoing treatment for multiple fractures sustained during an accident Dec 28, 2010.
The police were looking for him since a huge cache of illegal arms and ammunition, including a light machine gun and grenade, were recovered from his house in December last year.
