Vice principal arrested for molestation in Punjab
August 1st, 2009 - 9:29 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Mohali (Punjab), Aug 1 (IANS) The vice principal of a private school near this Punjab town was arrested Saturday evening on the charges of molesting an 11-year-old student, police said.
According to police, Ravinder Naudial, vice principal of the Bharat Model School at Nayagaon town, had molested the girl twice.
“After the first incident the family members (of the victim) let him off after a warning but he repeated the offence on July 24. After this the girl was so horrified that she refused to go to school,” Kishan Chand, investigating officer of the case, told IANS.
“We got the complaint from the family of the victim. Police have arrested the accused teacher and started investigations,” he added.
