Vehicle thieves arrested
December 5th, 2010 - 8:56 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 4 (IANS) Three people accused of stealing motor vehicles were arrested while trying to sell one of them, police said Sunday.
Pawan Kumar, 22, Ranjeet Kumar, 21 and Asim Mohammad, 20 were arrested Friday from Mayapuri junk market in west Delhi where the trio had come to sell a stolen scooter, said police.
“The gang actively committed motor vehicles thefts in the area of outer, west and south Delhi,” said a police official.
A motorcycle, a scooter and eight mobile phones have been seized from the trio.
