Varsity security guard shoots two dead
February 16th, 2011 - 1:31 am ICT by IANSGreater Noida, Feb 16 (IANS) A security guard at a private university Tuesday shot dead two men, both former guards at the institution after they beat him up alleging he he had been responsible for their removal, police said.The two security guards Sachin Tomar and Indrajeet barged in to the room of Ravinder and started to thrash him. Ravinder took his 12.bore gun and shot them dead.
On hearing the two shots, the university staff rushed to the spot, overpowered him and handed him over to police.
“We have registered a criminal case against Ravinder and arrested him. His gun has been confiscated,” said Greater Noida’s Superintendent of Police Atul Saxena.
