US management students visit Kerala Technopark

Thiruvananthapuram, July 31 (IANS) A group of 14 management students from a US-based B-school visited the Technopark here Thursday as part of their study-abroad tour. The students of the Cameron School of Business in Houston, Texas, toured the Technopark campus accompanied by park officials. The group was led by Beena George, assistant professor of Information Systems and Management at the school.

The students are on a course tour titled “Globalization of Business Services”, and their trip to India is to gain insights into location-based advantages for businesses.

The team also visited Bangalore to understand and integrate issues related to globalization and the global marketplace into their thinking on business organisations.

Technopark CEO R.K. Nair said: “I hope the team found this trip fruitful and will carry back valuable inputs and cherish this trip.”
