UPSC to hold military officers’ entrance exam April 18
October 23rd, 2009 - 7:47 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 23 (IANS) The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the National Defence Academy (NDA) exam for induction of officers into the armed forces April 18, an official said here.
The UPSC will also hold exams for naval academy (executive branch) on the same day.
The official said only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than Jan 2, 1992, and not later than July 1, 1994, are eligible to take the test.
“Minimum educational qualification for NDA is Class 12 or equivalent examination conducted by a state education board or a university. For air and naval wings Class 12 with physics and mathematics are required,” the official added.
