Undertrial dies of heart attack in court
April 26th, 2010 - 9:47 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, April 26 (IANS) A 60-year-old woman undertrial in an attempt to murder case died Monday after suffering a heart attack in a city court.
Poonam collapsed around 11 a.m. during the proceedings before sessions judge Kamini Lau, said a witness.
Doctors from the court dispensary were called in immediately while the judge suspended the proceedings, the witness said.
The undertrial was rushed to hospital where she was declared dead.
The victim was on bail in a case registered in Rohini police station in 2005.
