UAE trade minister meets Arab business delegation
January 21st, 2012 - 12:43 am ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, Jan 20 (IANS/WAM) UAE Foreign Minister Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi Friday held a meeting with an Arab business delegation to boost trade cooperation. They also discussed the latest developments at the Arab region.
Lubna said the tourism sector in the UAE has grown considerably in the last decade. Restaurants and hotels contributed 23 billion dirhams to the GDP in 2010 compared to 10 billion dirhams in 2002. She said tourism is one of the service sectors that get attention from the decision makers in the UAE.
