UAE team meets kids in Somalia on Eid
September 2nd, 2011 - 1:18 am ICT by IANSMogadishu, Aug 31 (IANS/WAM) An Emirati team visiting Somalia to provide aid to the people celebrated Eid with the children, who were displaced with their families following a wave of drought that hit the region.
The team members distributed sweets, toys and other gifts to the children at the Emirati camp for displaced people in Wadgar area.
The Emirati camp currently provides meals to over 5,000 displaced people.
