UAE officials learn fog monitoring in Slovakia
November 18th, 2011 - 12:41 am ICT by IANSDubai, Nov 17 (IANS/WAM) Officials from Dubai have visited Slovakia to learn about the latest technology on how to monitor fog as well as control traffic in such situations.
A team from the survey department of the Dubai Municipality, led by Eman Al Khataibi head of the geodetic and marine survey section, visited the Microstep Co. headquarters in Slovakia to study the country’s fog and traffic safety project.
Al Khataibi said the team identified the hardware and software used for monitoring weather data.
