UAE, New Zealand discuss defence issues
September 12th, 2011 - 12:38 am ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, Sep 11 (IANS/WAM) Top defence officials of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and New Zealand met Sunday in Abu Dhabi and discussed cooperation in the military.
Lt. Gen. Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, chief of staff of the UAE Armed Forces, received Lt. Gen. Rhys Jones, chief of the New Zealand Defence Force, who is currently on a visit to the UAE.
The meeting was held at the office of the General Command of the Armed Forces.
The officials also exchanged experiences in the military.
