UAE leaders meet foreign officials
February 16th, 2012 - 12:29 am ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, Feb 15 (IANS/WAM) Rulers of three states in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have met two American envoys as well as a number of visiting MPs from Germany.
Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, ruler of Ajman, Wednesday received at his office the US ambassador to UAE, Michael Corbin.
Corbin was accompanied by Justin Siberell, US consul general in Dubai.
Sheikh Humaid discussed with the two American officials ways to enhance relations between the two countries.
Corbin and Siberell also met Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, ruler of Sharjah.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, deputy ruler of Dubai and UAE minister of finance, met a German delegation comprising a number of MPs and businesspeople.
The two sides discussed bilateral relations, especially in trade, culture and tourism.
