UAE launches website on aviation security
November 18th, 2011 - 12:41 am ICT by IANSDubai, Nov 17 (IANS/WAM) The civil aviation authority of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched a new website on aviation security.
The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) launched the website at the Dubai Airshow 2011.
Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, GCAA director general, said the main objective of the website was to increase awareness about aviation security among the staff and stakeholders, including the ministry of interior, ministry of defence, customs, airports, national carriers and registered aircraft companies.
