UAE launches anti-narcotics drive
December 3rd, 2011 - 10:21 pm ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, Dec 3 (IANS/WAM) The UAE interior ministry will set up a new department to prevent the sale of narcotics over the internet, it was announced Saturday.
The order was issued by the undersecretary of the ministry, Lt. Gen. Saif Abdullah Al Shaafer.
The department will monitor the internet and track down criminals in coordination with local and international agencies, he said.
