UAE, Britain seek cooperation in judicial matters
April 12th, 2011 - 12:48 am ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, April 11 (IANS/WAM) UAE Justice Minister Hadef Joan Al Dhahiri has lauded the country’s cooperation with Britain in the judicial and legal matters.
Al Dhahiri made the remarks during the reception to a British delegation led by Foreign and Commonwealth Office Minister Alistair Burt in his office here Monday. British Ambassador to UAE Dominic Jeremy was also present at the reception.
Al Dhahiri briefed the British minister about the efforts of his ministry and its plans to exchange expertise in all judicial and legal matters with Britain. The meeting also focused on various bilateral agreements.
The British minister stressed the importance of exchanging visits between the British judicial staff and their UAE counterparts to exchange information.
