Two youths killed, Maoist rivalry suspected
April 13th, 2011 - 2:04 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, April 13 (IANS) Rivalry between Maoist groups is suspected to be behind the killing of two youths whose bodies were found in Jharkhand’s Latehar district Wednesday, police said.
The bodies of Birendra Singh and Nirmal Singh were found near the railway crossing in Atikheta jungle of Latehar district, around 130 km from Ranchi.
The youths were said to be supporters of the Jharkhand Janmukti Morcha (JJM), a Maoist outfit. Police say the killing could be an outcome of rivalry among Maoist groups.
Two other people were killed by Maoists at Baresthan in Latehar Tuesday, police said.
