Two youths held for kidnap, murder of boy
December 29th, 2009 - 6:50 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 29 (IANS) Two young men have been arrested here for kidnap and murder of a 12-year-old boy for ransom, police said Tuesday.
Vasi-Ur-Rehman Ansari, 20, and Mohammad Fahim, 23, were arrested Monday for kidnapping and murder of Karandeep Singh.
The accused kidnapped Singh from outside his Jahangirpuri house Saturday.
“They killed Singh Sunday due to fear of arrest and threw his body in an open area near Hapur in Uttar Pradesh,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (northwest Delhi) H.G.S. Dhaliwal said.
Ansari and Fahim were known to Singh.
