Two-year-old kidnapped in Haryana town

- Panchkula (Haryana), Oct 20 (IANS) The two-year-old daughter of a businessman was kidnapped from outside her house in this Haryana town Tuesday evening, police said.
According to police, four men in their early 20s allegedly picked up the girl, Jia, from the garden outside her house here in Sector 7 and fled in a Honda City car.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kalia told IANS: “The child was kidnapped from outside her house where she was playing with other kids. Police have started its investigation. All police check-posts have been intimated and we are recording the statements of eye-witnesses.”
Jia’s father runs a well-known gym here in Sector 8.
Police sources said that Jia was with her caretaker who had gone inside the house to bring some eatables when the kidnapping took place.
