Two workers killed in Orissa (Lead)
June 26th, 2010 - 10:33 pm ICT by IANSBhubaneswar, June 26 (IANS) Two workers were killed and six critically injured when a boiler at a soft drink manufacturing and bottling plant exploded in Orissa’s Khordha district, police said Saturday.
The accident took place Friday at the plant at Khordha town, about 50 km from here.
The two workers succumbed to their injuries in the night at Sriram Chandra Bhanja Medical College Hospital (SCB) at Cuttack city, inspector in-charge of the Khordha police station B.K.Jena told IANS.
Jena said the exact cause of the accident was being investigated.
