New Delhi, June 7 (IANS) Two teenagers were arrested here for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl in their northwest Delhi home early Saturday, police said. Police said the victim had apparently entered the boys’ home in Wazirpur to steal something, but was nabbed around 1.30 a.m. The duo then allegedly thrashed her and took turns to rape her.

On returning home, the victim narrated the incident to her parents, who informed the police. The police took the girl for a medical examination at the Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital where the doctors confirmed that she had been raped.

“We have registered a case and arrested the boys,” said Babu Lal, the officer in charge of the Ashok Vihar police station.
