Two students killed in Noida accident
June 19th, 2009 - 11:51 pm ICT by IANSNoida, June 19 (IANS) Two students in their early 20s were killed when a water tanker hit their motorcycle here Friday afternoon, police said.
Ravindra Yadav and Pankaj Yadav were coming from Sector-60 towards Mamura crossing when a water tanker hit their motorcycle, police added.
Ravindra Yadav and Pankaj Yadav sustained serious injuries and were rushed to the hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries, police said.
Ravindra Yadav stayed in Garhi Chowkhandi village in Noida and Pankaj Yadav stayed in Sector-53 Noida.
“The driver has been arrested,” a police officer said.
