Two students die after being hit by truck in Jharkhand
February 23rd, 2010 - 7:56 pm ICT by IANSBokaro, Feb 23 (IANS) Two students, who were going to school on a bike, died after they were hit by a speedy truck in steel city Bokaro in Jharkhand Tuesday, police said.
The bike of Class Nine students — Sonu and Biswajit — was hit by the truck at sector 12 round-about of Bokaro, around 110 km from state capital Ranchi.
“The truck driver tried to escape but he has been arrested,” a police official told IANS.
He added: “The bodies have been sent for post-mortem.”
The students were residents of Bokaro.
