Two Shimla youth drown in Chandigarh
June 17th, 2011 - 4:02 pm ICT by IANSChandigarh, June 17 (IANS) Two youths from Shimla drowned in a swimming pool here, police said Friday.
Ajay Loholta, 27, and Nitin Mokta, 23, had come to Chandigarh from Shimla Thursday night with friends.
“Ajay and Nitin jumped into the pool to bathe without knowing swimming. Unintentionally, they went towards the deep area and drowned,” police officer Ranjot Singh said. The deep end was 10 feet.
