Two poachers held with deer skins

Raipur, Sep 4 (IANS) Two youths have been arrested for illegally trading deer skins in Kanker district of Chhattisgarh. The seized skins are worth about Rs.400,000 in the international market, police said Thursday.Jyoti Singh, the officer in charge of the crime branch, said the police raided Mudapar area here late Wednesday on a tip off and arrested the youths - Jaichand Dhruv, 20, and Brahma, 21 - who were waiting for a customer, probably a member of an inter-state poacher gang, to hand over a bag filled with deer skins.
