Ghaziabad, March 31 (IANS) Two Pakistani nationals were Tuesday sentenced to life imprisonment for murdering a fruit vendor in Ghaziabad, near New Delhi, in 2000.
The Eighth additional district judge’s court of Pradeep Kumar pronounced the quantum of sentence after finding the two guilty Monday. The court also slapped a penalty of Rs.10,000 on each of them.
According to Additional District Government Counsel (ADGC) Manoj Tyagi, Yusuf and Rashid, who are brothers, stabbed Pappu to death Feb 25, 2000.
