Two Naga men beaten up in Delhi
November 6th, 2009 - 10:50 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Nov 6 (IANS) Two men belonging to northeast were beaten up by four men over a minor issue in Kotla area of the national capital, police said Friday.
Yungshum Thung, 23, and Neuto, both from Nagaland, were beaten up late Thursday when they were having momos.
“The four assailants threw momos at the duo, at which the Nagas confronted them. However, the matter was resolved and the duo left,” police said.
However, the four assailants followed them and attacked the two at a secluded spot and then fled.
The victims were admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, but discharged after primary treatment.
The police said a case has been registered but no arrests have been made yet.
