Two motorcyclists killed in Delhi
January 22nd, 2012 - 3:00 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 21 (IANS) Two motorcyclists were killed in two separate road accidents in the capital Saturday, police said.
Satish, 22, a student, died after his mobike rammed into a stationary car near Geeta Colony in east Delhi around 11 a.m. He died while being taken to hospital.
The car driver was arrested for negligence as he had suddenly opened the car’s door, resulting in the accident.
In the other incident, a motorcyclist was mowed down by a truck in south Delhi around 12.45 p.m.
Anil Kumar Suman, 42, a resident of Sector 45 in Noida, was crushed by the truck on Ring Road near the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. The truck driver is absconding.
