Two Mother Teresa coins to be released

New Delhi, Aug 27 (IANS) Two coins will be released Saturday to mark the birth centenary of Mother Teresa.
Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee will release the coins - of Rs.100 and Rs.5 denominations - at a function here to be attended by President Pratibha Patil, spokesperson of the centenary celebration committee Father Babu Joseph told IANS.
A special souvenir portraying the life of the Kolkata nun, who worked for the underprivileged and abandoned in India and abroad, will be released at the function, the spokesperson added.
Sister Prema, superior general of the Missionaries of Charity (the religious order founded by Mother Teresa), representatives of different religions and political leaders will attend the function.
