New Delhi, July 10 (IANS) Two minors, including a six-year-old girl, were raped in separate incidents here Tuesday, police said, adding that both the accused - a juvenile and a government school teacher - were caught.

A 14-year-old student alleged that she had been repeatedly raped over a period of four years by her teacher Shailendra Singh, 42, in central Delhi’s Hauz Qazi area.

The victim’s parents approached police after the accused inadvertently shared some facts about incident with her sister. The victim’s sister told her parents, said a police official.

When the victim’s parents questioned her, she told them that Singh, had been taking her to different Delhi hotels over the last four years and sexually assaulting her, the officer said.

Singh had threatened to release her indecent pictures on internet if she tried to tell anyone about their relationship.

“Singh was arrested after the medical test of the victim,” said the official.

In the other incident, a six-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a 17-year-old boy on pretext of playing with her in a park in a village in north Delhi’s Narela neighbourhood.

The victim managed to reach home and tell her parents about the incident.
