Two militants held in Assam
July 1st, 2012 - 5:08 pm ICT by IANSGuwahati, July 1 (IANS) The Indian Army has arrested two militants in Assam, official sources said Sunday.
While one of them was from the All Adivasi National Liberation Army (AANLA), the other was a member of the Muslim United Liberation Tigers of Assam (MULTA). Both arrests took place Saturday.
AANLA’s Ajit Lakhra, 29, was caught in a village in Udalguri district. MULTA cadre Mumtaz Ali was apprehended in Darrang district.
