Two men on bike snatch Rs.1.5 lakh
July 5th, 2011 - 1:06 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, July 4 (IANS) Two bike-borne men Monday snatched Rs.1.56 lakh from a private firm employee in central Delhi, police said.
“The assailants snatched the cash bag of Ganga Singh, an employee of a private firm, who had gone to exchange old notes and withdraw cash from a bank in Connaught Place Monday afternoon,” said a police officer.
Police said that the culprits snatched the bag while he was returning to his office and fled from the spot.
“The culprits were smartly dressed and were carrying a laptop bag. It seems that they were following Singh,” said the officer.
