Two men found dead in Ghaziabad
June 22nd, 2010 - 8:05 pm ICT by IANSGhaziabad, June 22 (IANS) The bodies of two men, who allegedly died of a drug overdose, were found in Ghaziabad Tuesday, police said.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police Raghubir Lal, the bodies of the men - in the age group of 24-26 years - were found along a road near Utsav Banquet Hall in Vijay Nagar area at around 8 a.m.
The men remained unidentified till the evening.
Police said syringes had been found in the men’s pockets, indicating they were drug users.
“Presence of syringes indicate they were involved in taking drug substances and could have taken a heavy dose that resulted in death,” Lal said.
“The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination. Only after the post-mortem report is received will we know the cause of death,” said an official at Vijay Nagar police station.
