Two Maoists killed in Chhattisgarh
January 15th, 2010 - 10:40 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Raipur, Jan 15 (IANS) Two Maoist guerrillas were killed in Chhattisgarh Friday in a gun battle with security forces, police said.
The battle broke out in a forested hamlet in Dantewada district of Bastar region, some 500 km south from here, Superintendent of Police Amresh Mishra told IANS.
The Maoists opened fire at joint police team, which fired back, killing two rebels, Mishra said.
