Two Maoists held in Jharkhand
July 15th, 2010 - 12:19 am ICT by IANSRanchi, July 14(IANS) Two Maoists were arrested Wednesday while they were laying landmines in Jharkhand’s Khuti district, police said.
According to police, the rebels were trying to blow up the Kesaribera and Masunga roads through which a police patrol team had to pass.
On a tip-off, the police raided the spot when Maoists were planting the landmines. The arrested rebels were identified as Sobran Munda and Rajesh Kumar Sahu.
The police recovered 28 pieces of high power explosives.
