Two Maoists arrested
February 9th, 2012 - 7:12 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, Feb 9 (IANS) Two Maoist guerrillas were arrested Thursday in the Jharkhand capital when they were buying army uniforms for their cadres, police said.
According to police, two Maoist guerrillas belonging to the Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC) group were arrested from a shop situated in the area under the jurisdiction of Ranchi’s Kotwali police station.
“The Maoist guerrillas had arrived in Ranchi from Palamau district to buy army uniforms. Maoists use army uniforms to hide their identity in the jungle areas,” an official told IANS.
