Two Manipur militants arrested in Delhi
December 7th, 2010 - 8:47 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 7 (IANS) Two members of outlawed Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) were arrested in Delhi, city police said Tuesday.
Huidrom Nanao Singh and Mayengbam Santon Luwang were hiding in the capital since Nov 30 and were arrested Monday.
“We had contacted the Manipur police, who confirmed that Singh along with a senior cadre of KCP and Kuki Revolutionary Army is involved in the abduction of five officials of Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) in Manipur,” a police officer said.
Seven mobile phones, one ATM card, two PAN cards, and a driving licence were recovered from the duo, he added.
