Noida, July 12 (IANS) Two people were killed in two separate accidents in Noida Tuesday, police said.

An export house employee was killed when a speeding chartered bus hit his motor-cycle near City Centre Metro Station here.

According to police, the accident occurred while Rameshwar, 22, was going to his office. He died on the spot.

Police impounded the bus. “The driver is absconding. We have registered a case,” said an official at Sector-24 police station.

In yet another incident, a 45-year-old man was killed and three others were injured critically when a roadways bus hit a stationary truck on National Highway-24 under Vijay Nagar police station area.

According to police, three forest guards were conducting checking and had stopped a truck. A Roadways bus going towards Delhi hit the truck from behind with such force that the truck overturned.

The truck cleaner, identified as Dhoop Singh, died on the spot while truck driver Devendra, 26, and two passengers of the bus - Allah Noor, 56, and Badshah Sattar, 70 - were critically injured. They were admitted to the MMG Hospital where their condition was stated to be critical.

The bus driver fled from the spot, police said.
